Situated along a canal in Nokomis, Florida, this 2,500-square-foot waterfront residence underwent a significant transformation through Eridel Construction & Design's collaborative approach to interior design and renovation. Originally engaged to provide full-service interior design, the project evolved when construction deficiencies from a previous contractor required additional oversight, corrective work, and construction management to successfully bring the homeowners' vision to life.

The design focused on creating a bright, welcoming waterfront retreat that felt both sophisticated and highly functional. Through thoughtful space planning, custom cabinetry, interior architectural detailing, carefully selected materials, lighting, and furnishings, the home was reimagined to better support the homeowners' lifestyle while strengthening its connection to the surrounding waterfront setting.

A warm coastal contemporary aesthetic guides the design, blending natural textures, soft neutral tones, rich wood finishes, and layered materials to create a timeless and inviting atmosphere. In addition to the interior transformation, Eridel Construction & Design completed a rear addition to expand the home's living space, installed new pavers around the property, and corrected numerous construction deficiencies left behind by the previous builder.
